44 players remained after the date 1A at the Polish Open EPT in the Casino of the Hyatts in Warsaw left. Three Scandinavian players dominated this tournament until now and that means not only their respective tables, but also the overall ranking. The first in the ranking was Henning Gran City from Norway, followed closely by the young and Sweden Patric Martensson Raymi Sanchez Thörn.
The second day here in Warsaw (Day 1B) started 15 minutes late. That was for EPT record already suspicious circumstances. The real game was to start relatively “slow” due in the first levels are very few players Ret. But we know already from many

other tournaments. One of the players, which is not managed to stay in the race, was the winner of the EPT in Copenhagen, Magnus Petersson, as I did shortly before the start of the tournament came, he was still very enthusiastic, but when he shortly after the start of the tournament a large pot with top Set against a flush draw had lost love him very few chips. The remaining chips went Magnus shortly thereafter on big blind with A-10 All In. Unfortunately, the players, which of the button from gelimpt had AK and called the All-In and Magnus was out.
The two Dutchman Marcel Luske and Noah Boeken, are among the most famous players of the EPT tour and are at all EPT tournaments encountered. Although the two players normally not at the same table to start the tournament, but it seems as if your game will always end when you work together on a table. So it was already in Dortmund and as the table of Noah is dissolved and the players were redistributed, Noah suddenly sat again with Marcel at the same table. Today was probably not the best days of Noah and so he had shortly before the dinner from the tournament and Marcel suddenly sat at a table, which is mainly occupied with Scandinavian players. Marcel has some Pötte lost, but then he played a little more cautious and stayed in the tournament because he often stole the blinds. Marcel is the born entertainer, he has sung, he has spoken and funny stories told. The best situation was, as Andy Black (which is already relatively early from the tournament was) at the table by Marcel stood and watched the game. The two talked loudly and had lots of fun, the whole was so interesting that at the end almost 40 players had gathered at the table to the show by Marcel and Andy can be observed. It must be one or the other players at the table have been quite frustrating, because you had no chance on the game. But most players the show seems to have liked. In the last round Marcel had no luck at stealing the blinds and had to be eliminated from the tournament.
One of the first players that stretches across a huge chip stack could look, was the Norwegians Age Spets. First, he carried the Swede Ola Engberg from the tournament, after he won a pot after another and was responsible for more than 6 level chip leader. Maybe it was even with table 6 to do and the many Scandinavians at this table. On day 1A was the chip leader Henning Gran city at this table and now on day 1 B was already the chip leader at this table. There were 6 to the table in time as the tournament ended two Big – stacks, the chip leader Age Spets and Sweden Peter Jeppsen. There’s the players, what tomorrow’s distribution of seats a place at the table assigned to receive 6, actually only ever advance to congratulate
There is a player, which is already in a lot of EPT tournaments has participated and which also almost all other major tournaments participates. I think it’s only a matter of time until that player one of the EPT win tournaments. The player on what I am talking about, is: Thomas Walroos from Finland. He is an excellent player, both online and in live tournaments, but so far it has never been an EPT final table done. I’m sure that sooner or later he will succeed.
An important prerequisite to assist in the EPT to be successful, is an aggressive game style. Thomas is a very aggressive player, which his playing always fully under control. I’ve never seen that he was on tilt and I can not remember that he has not managed times, for Day 2 to qualify. I have the player long time observed and hands me his views and he has shown me something, which I previously unaware. He brings it finished, that his opponents your cards not play as you normally would do. The stakes his opponents were not as high as normally and often gave him the possibility of the next cheap tickets to see and his opponents auszudrawen. His opponent had e.g. in one hand AA. Thomas had the flop an open-ended straight draw and a flush Draw. He was not the cards, which he needed, but had the opportunity to the Turn and the River very cheap. If he is one of the 15 outs have been found, which he did after the flop would be the player with AA in the high returns from the tournament after he flew the Reraise by Thomas on the River only gecallt.
